Our vision
Supporting the development of Frogans,
a new global, open, simple & universal medium
designed to complement the Web
In a context where AI and new digital environments will play
an increasingly important role,
offering an alternative to the web
is becoming a major strategic challenge
The Web, designed more than thirty years ago, is now revealing its structural limitations in the face of modern usage centered on users’ constant mobility, increased demand for security and personal data protection, and environmental challenges.
To meet these needs, the Web has evolved by stacking successive technologies. These adaptations have, in practice, led to increasing complexity for both content publishers and users.

1994
When the Web became mainstream — driven in particular by companies like Netscape, Amazon, and eBay— the Web had to quickly adapt, even if it meant making some compromises, such as the massive use of cookies or limitations in terms of security.
Starting in 2007

The rise of smartphones, particularly with the arrival of the iPhone, marked a new stage; the Web adapted once again by relying on a responsive design approach, but this led to an increasingly fragmented and complex user experience.
2020

Since the 2020s, the emergence of immersive VR/AR environments has highlighted the limitations of the Web, which is constrained by its scrolling rectangular windows that limit the display on new devices with overly complex content. It thus appears increasingly ill-suited to the mass-market distribution platforms of tomorrow. The upcoming arrival of fully immersive environments will only exacerbate this inability to adapt.
